USA Train Rides is an independent trip-planning guide for heritage railroads, scenic train rides, rail museums, and the local experiences that make a train-centered day worth the trip. We are building coverage across all 50 states while upgrading priority pages through a documented research, rights, review, and release process.
What We Offer
Directory
Search active U.S. listings by location, find public contact information, and open a page to see its current sourcing and review status. Directory totals can include ride operators, rail museums, trolleys, inclines, and related rail attractions; they are not counts of operator-confirmed businesses.
Events
Discover event records, special excursions, and seasonal highlights. Dates can change; event pages link to the operator so visitors can confirm availability before traveling.
Affiliate Links
Direct ticket links put the operator first. Some surrounding lodging or activity links may be affiliate links; those relationships are disclosed and never override train-trip relevance. Read the full affiliate disclosure.

Accountability and Corrections
USA Train Rides operates independently from the railroads, museums, attractions, and businesses it covers. Editorial corrections and operator support are handled at ageorge@usatrainrides.com or through the contact page. The corrections page explains what evidence to include and what happens after a report is received. Our editorial standards explain sourcing, status labels, corrections, image rights, automation, directory counts, and the separation between editorial relevance and commercial relationships. How Data Is Collected
We prefer official operator pages, official ticket calendars, and other primary or authoritative sources, supported by automated discovery and manual review. A source check is not the same as operator confirmation. A claimed listing records an authorized listing relationship after claim review; it does not automatically make every changing page detail operator-confirmed or guarantee that it remains current.
Operators: Add, Correct, or Claim a Listing
New-listing requests, corrections, and claims are free. Claiming a listing does not buy placement and does not automatically mark the page operator-confirmed. Commercial sponsorship, if offered, is separate, optional, and labeled.
