Information we collect

• Usage and device data (automatically). When you visit, our analytics and hosting providers receive standard technical data — IP address, browser type and user-agent, referring page, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP. We use PostHog for product analytics and Vercel for hosting and traffic analytics.
• Outbound-click data.When you click an affiliate or “book” link, we log the click (destination, the page you came from, your user-agent, and timestamp) to measure which listings are useful and report performance to our partners. We do not sell this data.
• Information you give us. If you subscribe to our newsletter, submit an inquiry, or email us, we collect the email address and any details you provide. The Site has no visitor accounts and never asks for passwords or payment information.

Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of first-party cookies for analytics and to remember how you arrived at the Site (for example, a marketing-attribution cookie recording the source of your visit for up to 30 days). PostHog may also set cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the Site still works. We honor browser “Do Not Track” signals where required by law.

Affiliate links and disclosure

The Site contains affiliate links — including to Stay22, Discover Cars, Viator, and GetYourGuide. If you click these and book or purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. These third parties set their own cookies and process your data under their own privacy policies once you leave our Site.

Third-party services we use

We share limited data with providers who process it on our behalf or as independent controllers: PostHog (analytics), Vercel (hosting/analytics), Supabase (database/infrastructure), our email providers (newsletter and transactional/inquiry email), and the affiliate networks above. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We keep analytics and click data as long as needed to operate and improve the Site, and email information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, opt out of certain processing or “sales/shares,” and withdraw consent. Children’s privacy

The Site is for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in some regions). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy and will revise the effective date above when we do. Material changes appear on this page.
