The Pumpkin Train is the Little River Railroad's autumn excursion behind a preserved 4-6-2 Pacific steam locomotive in southern Michigan. Families ride the museum's signature small-steam consist out to a pumpkin patch, where kids pick a pumpkin before the return run. A small-railroad, working-steam ride that punches well above its weight on seasonal weekends.
