The Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles preserves Pennsylvania road-transportation history inside the former Boyertown Auto Body Works complex. Vehicle manufacturing continued on the site from 1872 until 1990, so the factory is part of the story rather than a neutral exhibition hall.

The collection ranges from gasoline, electric, and horse-drawn vehicles to bicycles, commercial trucks, wagons, and sleighs. A preserved 1938 Fegely’s Reading Diner, a 1921 Sunoco station, and a 1920s tourist cabin broaden the visit into roadside culture; the diner is an exhibit and does not serve food.

Upstairs, the original Jeremiah Sweinhart Carriage Factory includes a reconstructed blacksmith forge and early belt-driven machine shop. The newer Carriage Barn adds more carriages, wagons, sleds, and sleighs, making the museum a useful counterpoint to Colebrookdale’s railroad-centered transportation history.
