About Cathedral Ledge State Park
Cathedral Ledge State Park rises above the west side of North Conway. A roughly mile-long auto road reaches the summit area in season, while trails from Echo Lake provide a more demanding alternative.
The summit has a short accessible trail to the valley view. Cathedral and neighboring White Horse ledges are also active rock- and ice-climbing areas, so casual visitors should remain within signed public routes and behind barriers.
The park is open for recreation unless posted closed, but staffing, gates, road access, comfort stations, and fees change by season. The current park page lists a May 2 season opening and October 31 transition to unstaffed operations.
