About Cedar Creek Grist Mill
Cedar Creek Grist Mill is a working museum where volunteers demonstrate water-powered, stone-ground milling in the style of the 1876 mill.
The mill is open most weekends year-round: Saturdays from 1-4 p.m. and Sundays from 2-4 p.m. It is closed weekdays except for arranged tours and closed on Easter, Christmas and New Year's Day.
No fixed admission is published; donations are appreciated. Visitors may receive a small flour or cornmeal sample when available, but no sample is guaranteed.
The mill is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and the current covered bridge was built in 1994. The official site describes a steep, rocky slope in a narrow gorge but publishes no accessible-route or parking contract.

See volunteers demonstrate a water-powered process modeled on the 1876 mill.

Compare the historic mill with the covered bridge built in 1994.
Arrange a group tour
Use the official request process rather than assuming weekday public opening.
Pair it with the train
Why it belongs in a Chelatchie Prairie Railroad trip
The mill ranks second about 12.16 road miles and roughly 19 minutes from the sole official Yacolt boarding anchor. Match its narrow weekend hours to the train schedule and avoid a tight connection.
