About Cherry Crest Adventure Farm
Cherry Crest Adventure Farm is a full-scale seasonal attraction rather than a brief roadside stop. General admission covers more than 70 farm activities across the currently operating season, while a small group of premium activities carries an additional charge.
The corn maze is the best-known feature, but the farm also programs animal encounters, festivals, live music, food, flowers, pumpkins, and family play areas. What is available changes between early, summer, and fall seasons, so the current calendar and attraction list should drive the visit.
Strasburg Rail Road trains pass through the farm landscape, creating a genuine rail connection, but the farm uses its own entrance, parking, admission, and hours. Mud, heat, rain, and real agricultural surfaces are part of the experience and can affect both comfort and operations.
What stands out
More than a corn maze
Seasonal admission combines farm play, animals, food, festivals, and crop-centered experiences.
Trains through the landscape
Strasburg Rail Road’s line runs beside the farm, reinforcing the same-day connection.
A long-form family stop
All-day reentry and the number of activities reward a dedicated block rather than a rushed hour.
Pair it with the train
Why it belongs in a Strasburg Rail Road trip
Cherry Crest is about 1.7 miles from the Strasburg depot and deserves a separate multi-hour block. Pair it with the train only after choosing a dated farm session and leaving time to drive, park, and reach the railroad before boarding.
