About Cuyahoga Valley National Park
Cuyahoga Valley National Park protects roughly 33,000 acres of river valley, forests, waterfalls and canal-era landscapes without a single park gate.
Most park areas are open 24 hours, but Brandywine, Ledges, Octagon, Kendall Lake, Happy Days South and Kendall Hills on Quick Road close at dusk.
Boston Mill Visitor Center summer hours are daily 9 a.m.-5 p.m. through September 7, then generally 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m.; winter weekday hours differ. Restrooms remain open when the building closes.
Park entry needs no fee or reservation, but shelters can require separate payment. The National Park Service and CVSR are independent; no train ticket includes park services.

Pair it with the train
Why it belongs in a Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad trip
The park is about 21,890 meters, or 13.60 road miles and roughly 27 minutes, from Rockside. It is the stronger thematic rail pairing but remains a separate road stop, not a rail-ticket inclusion.
