Plumas County Museum is a nonprofit county-history museum in Quincy. Its permanent displays connect Mountain Maidu basketry, railroads, Feather River gold mining, timber, Chinese influence, natural history, longboard ski racing, medicine, toys, and contemporary county art.

The industrial-history wing, exhibit yard, working blacksmith shop, stamp mill, logging and mining equipment, and restored miner's cabin broaden the story beyond the railroad.
