About Baltimore Streetcar Museum, Inc.
At 1911 Falls Road in Baltimore, historic streetcars glide along a short, restored track, offering rides on vehicles such as the 1898 Brownell “Accelerator” (Car #1050), the 1944 Pullman PCC (Car #7407) and the 1900 Brownell convertible (Car #264). The all‑volunteer staff maintains a large machine shop and library, while the museum’s gift shop and multimedia displays enrich the experience.

The museum’s operating fleet includes Baltimore Consolidated Railway Car #1050 (an 1898 Brownell “Accelerator”), United Railways & Electric Company Car #3828 (a 1902 J.G. Brill car rebuilt in 1923), horse‑drawn Car #25 (an 1859 Poole & Hunt car), United Railways Car #264 (a 1900 Brownell convertible), Car #4533 (a 1904 Brill one‑man safety car rebuilt to its 1924 configuration), Car #6119 (a 1930 Brill Peter Witt model), Car #7407 (a 1944 Pullman Presidents’ Conference Committee PCC, the museum’s only operating Pullman PCC), Car #2168 (a 1947 St. Louis Car Co. Philadelphia SEPTA PCC placed in service in 2009), Car #1164 (a 1902 Brill 22‑A open‑bench car restored around 2020), Car #554 (a 1896 Brownell nine‑bench summer car restored in 2018), Car #417 (originally an 1895 Baltimore City Passenger Railway horse car later converted to electric and now the museum’s newest restoration), Car #7303 (a 1936 St. Louis Car Co. PCC acquired and under restoration), Car #2187 (a 1948 St. Louis Car Co. PCC retired from SEPTA in 2005), Car C‑145 (a 1923 Brill snow‑plow car), and the seasonal “Santa’s Streetcar.”

The Baltimore Streetcar Museum is incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 1966. Since its inception the museum has remained under the same nonprofit ownership, governed by a board of directors and operated entirely by volunteer members. Its machine shop is recognized as one of the largest and best‑equipped street‑car workshops in the United States.
