About Wheels O' Time Museum
At Wheels O’ Time Museum, a 1910 American Locomotive Company 4‑6‑2 Pacific, Rock Island 886, steams beside two historic passenger cars on a modest yard in Medina Township, Peoria County, Illinois. The site, open May through October, also displays a Great Depression‑era LeTourneau prefabricated metal house, a large Lego construction donated in 2022, and a variety of antique automobiles.
History
The Wheels O’ Time Museum is founded in 1977 in Medina Township, Peoria County, Illinois. After six years of development, it opens its doors to the public in 1983. In 2017 the institution secures nonprofit status by registering as a 501(c)(3) organization.
The Trains
A 1910 American Locomotive Company 4-6-2 Pacific, Rock Island 886, steams beside two historic passenger cars in the museum's yard at Medina Township.
