Gateway Harbor occupies the canal edge near Sweeney and Webster streets and connects the twin Tonawandas’ downtowns. For a railroad-museum visitor, its value is as an outdoor reset: waterway history, short walks, public gathering space and access to independent dining without committing to another indoor admission.
The official North Tonawanda harbor site is written primarily for boaters.
