Morris Museum is the strongest all-weather pairing near Whippany Railway Museum. Its permanent Murtogh D. Guinness Collection brings engineering and art together through historic mechanical musical instruments and automata, while the Mega Model Train Gallery keeps part of the day train-themed.

The Guinness holdings include 750 mechanical musical instruments and automata plus more than 5,000 pieces of programmed media. More than 150 collection objects are displayed in the permanent gallery, alongside changing exhibitions, natural science and local-history material, Spark!Lab, and Bickford Theatre programs.
