About Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum
Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum is a city-owned collection at Pueblo Memorial Airport operated by the independent Pueblo Historical Aircraft Society. Two hangars, outdoor aircraft, a gift shop and interpretive displays cover military and civil aviation. The operating arrangement confirms that it is separate from Pueblo Railway Museum even though both preserve transportation history.
Current collection highlights include an A-26C Invader, MiG-17 and B-29 Peachy. The 2018 A-26 and MiG photographs establish exact-site collection history rather than today's display position. The City of Pueblo airport page currently confirms that B-29 Peachy remains an exhibit. Outdoor aircraft, barriers and access can change with maintenance and weather.
The official plan-your-visit page lists Monday-Saturday hours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m., with closures on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day and Easter. Adult admission is $10; age 60 and older and veterans pay $8; active-duty military enter free; children under seven are free only with a parent. Groups larger than ten should call ahead, and guided or self-guided visits are available.
The museum publishes free first-come lot parking with street parking when full. Both hangars have restrooms and are described as fully accessible, joined by a paved sidewalk. One motorized and two manual wheelchairs are available. The hangars are heated in winter but use ceiling fans and are not fully air-conditioned in summer; only the gift shop is air-conditioned. Those climate differences matter for a longer warm-weather visit.
What stands out
Compare two full hangars
Indoor displays span military and civil aviation, with restrooms and a paved accessible connection between buildings.
Meet B-29 Peachy
The current city airport page confirms the distinctive B-29 remains part of the museum's aircraft story.
Contrast the A-26 and MiG-17
Exact-site collection images anchor two different military-aircraft eras without promising present placement.
Walk the outdoor collection
Exterior aircraft extend the visit beyond the hangars, subject to weather, surface conditions and maintenance barriers.

Why it belongs in a Pueblo Railway Museum trip
Weisbrod ranks second about 6.7 miles straight-line east because it requires a separate drive to Pueblo Memorial Airport but offers the stronger independently plan-able museum stop. Protect the railway event and boarding location first, then allow time for two hangars and outdoor aircraft. Groups over ten should call, and visitors who need a museum wheelchair should confirm availability before leaving the depot area.
