About Rassbach Heritage Museum

The Russell J. Rassbach Heritage Museum is the Dunn County Historical Society's home in Menomonie's Wakanda Park. Its exhibits follow the county from early inhabitants through settlement, agriculture, conflict, industry, community life, and changing local stories.

Fulton's Workshop adds an interactive machines-and-inventions space inspired by engineer and craftsman Fulton Holtby. The campus also preserves the Hilkrest Rural School and Tainter Playhouse, creating a broader experience than a single gallery visit.

The society formed in 1950 and moved through several collection homes before dedicating the current Rassbach museum in 1998. Regular hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Thursday 2-8 p.m., with Sunday and Monday closed.
