About Branson Scenic Railway
Branson Scenic Railway boards at the 1905 Branson Depot and follows the active commercial railroad through the Ozarks. Regular scenic excursions run about 20 miles round trip and normally last one hour forty-five minutes, with up to two hours allowed. Dispatching, freight traffic and track work decide whether a departure travels north toward Galena or south into Arkansas toward Barren Fork Trestle, so neither direction nor a particular view is guaranteed.
