Find the Depot

Around the Depot

Limon calls itself the 'Hub City' of eastern Colorado, and it earns the name: the Lincoln County town sits where Interstate 70 meets U.S. Highways 24, 40, and 287 and Colorado Highway 71 on the high plains. Railroads created the place — the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific crossed the Kansas Pacific line here in 1888, and the junction of the two became Limon. With about 2,000 residents, it is the most populous municipality in rural Lincoln County.
