About Orchard Park BR&P Depot
The Western New York Railway Historical Society owns the Orchard Park Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburgh Depot at 395 South Lincoln Avenue. The present brick station was built in 1911 and opened in 1912, replacing an earlier wooden depot. It preserves passenger-station and freight-house spaces beside the railroad corridor.
The depot is a museum and event venue, not a scheduled excursion-train boarding point. Its official 2026 calendar identifies museum-open dates, farmers markets, cruise nights, Oktoberfest and four Christmas at the Depot afternoons. A separate depot site says regular Saturday access is 9 a.m.–noon through Labor Day or by appointment, while the Society calendar publishes event-specific times that should control for a particular date.
The depot site documents restored woodwork and fixtures, a paved parking loop and accessibility work in the freight house. The Society does not publish a complete current accessibility statement, so visitors who need step-free access, an accessible restroom or a reserved drop-off should contact it before traveling.

Preservation details
Restored woodwork, station fixtures and the freight-house project make the building itself the central artifact.
