North Creek is a hamlet of about 560 people inside the Adirondack Park, in the town of Johnsburg in Warren County, New York, and it lives for the outdoors — skiing at Gore Mountain (the state-owned area whose recent expansion added a gondola, new trails, and a quad chairlift), plus hiking and other recreation. The growing village scene includes the Tannery Pond Community Center, an art gallery, and a theater company, and the town hall and library are right in the hamlet.
